Update: A Letter from the Campaign Chair
A letter was recently mailed to alumni detailing information on the investment approach to funding the new housing needs at AGS. Click Here to login to the AGS alumni site and read a copy of the letter that was mailed.
Note: Some may have had issues using the link for the 506D project contained in the mailed letter, the correct address is: http://www.agsrollins.com/Booklet/AGS_Investment_book.pdf
Phase 1:
Senior Living Center: The senior living quarters will provide larger rooms and more amenities (semi-private bathrooms and covered parking, for example) then traditional stye living. Our hope is that by offering housing that is competative to off campus options our upperclassmen will choose to live in the house through graduation.
Phase 2 :
Parking: After removal of the 502 Rollins Annex, a two level parking structure will be built behind where the annex once stood and the new senior living quarters. The garage will have a 72 car capacity.
Phase 3:
New Annex: A new annex will be built to replace 502 Rollins.
Phase 4:
The Main House: The final phase is a total renovation of the main house at 408 Burnam. The renovation includes expanded kitchen, new living quarters for house mother, updated rooms, and much needed repairs.
Our hope is that when we have completed this project we will have a first rate facility that will continue to attract first rate members at the University of Missouri. We realize this is a large endeavor but we know, and hope you agree, that Alpha Gamma Sigma is worth the investment.

Today, Jan 27th, I received the ltr from Alan Wessler about “Building for the Future”. Glad to hear fr someone. I have had no success in getting in touch w/Alumni Assoc. for over 3 years. Letters were not returned nor answered. I just learned of the Founders Day event. I was not contacted by an Era Captain either. Much of the blame is mine of course for not making the extra effort to find someone. I was glad to see your name as the Alumni Assoc Pres so now maybe I can be back in the info loop. I suspect e-mail has become the norm for correspondence & I’ve been out of that loop which I won’t go into. Glad I got the mailing & glad to know who the Alum Pres is. My phone #417-885-3808. My pledge class was Sp ’58. Joe.
